Rene West ,founder and CEO, started his lawn maintenance career as a high schooler at Pensacola Christian Academy. There Rene impressed the likes of Chuck DeWitt who famously designed, installed, and maintained the spectacular grounds of Pensacola Christian College.
Mr. DeWitt mentored the high schooler, and by his senior year, Rene was managing the crews that were building the ball fields. Having mastered landscaping and lawn maintenance, Rene was in constant demand by many homeowners and commercial contractors.
Rene formed his company, Executive Landscaping, in 1983 and he incorporated in 1985. His business quickly grew to provide landscaping and lawn maintenance services for projects throughout the entire Southeast United States.
Rene provides full design and installation for small- and large-scale projects. His knowledge of the industry makes him a preferred expert in his field.
Rene West has been making the Gulf Coast beautiful for 40 years.
Thank you, Rene!

Many Alabama (AL) homeowners choose wood decking over composite decking because it is familiar, readily available and affordable. At the same time, wood decking comes with problems like splinters, rot and high maintenance. Although composite wood decking is easier to maintain, some homeowners worry that composites won’t look as nice as wood. However, manufacturing advances have led to composites that emulate the rich, natural look of wood without the hassles of maintaining a wood deck.
