( SOUTH DAKOTA ) – DECK & PATIO INSTALLATION & REPAIR CONTRACTORS

Our South Dakota (SD) Deck & Patio Installation & Repair contractors are passionate about designing & installing one of a kind decks and patios for your Outdoor Living Area. If need a new deck or patio or simply need some repair work done on your existing deck or patio our businesses servicing South Dakota (SD) listed on this page should be your first source for doing research.

The best part of a paver patio is the ability to be creative with the design, as well as a more modern contemporary apperance. A variety of hues and textures allow you to have unlimited possibilities, to both complement and enhance the natural beauty of any surrounding Landscape, while being friendly to the environment. From palatial outdoor entertaining areas to pool decks, with a relaxing spa-like feel, you can count on unsurpassed strength and flexibility. Concrete pavers can withstand the forces of weather, water and traffic making them a good choice for our climates here in South Dakota (SD).

Concrete is the most popular patio material in South Dakota (SD). Concrete patios cost ~30%-50% less than paver patios. With many decorative finishes, concrete patios attract homeowners who want an outdoor surface, but don’t want to make the investment into concrete pavers.

One of the most popular homeowner trends in the outdoor living category, is the addition of a custom designed Deck. The ability to expand your Outdoor Living space starts with a Deck, as it becomes the foundation for the Outdoor Living Experience. Few things add hard value to your home more than outdoor living areas. Experts agree that a deck installed on your home offers a 100% return in value. If you live in South Dakota (SD) and are looking for a new deck or having your existing deck renovated contact one of our Deck COntractor members to get started on a new Deck design!

Many South Dakota (SD) homeowners choose wood decking over composite decking because it is familiar, readily available and affordable. At the same time, wood decking comes with problems like splinters, rot and high maintenance. Although composite wood decking is easier to maintain, some homeowners worry that composites won’t look as nice as wood. However, manufacturing advances have led to composites that emulate the rich, natural look of wood without the hassles of maintaining a wood deck.

Contact one of our South Dakota (SD) Deck Contractors to learn more about your deck options.

south dakota State Information

South Dakota can generally be divided into three regions: eastern South Dakota, western South Dakota, and the Black Hills.[51] The Missouri River serves as a boundary in terms of geographic, social, and political differences between eastern and western South Dakota. The geography of the Black Hills, long considered sacred by Native Americans, differs from its surroundings to such an extent it can be considered separate from the rest of western South Dakota. At times the Black Hills are combined with the rest of western South Dakota, and people often refer to the resulting two regions divided by the Missouri River as West River and East River.[12][48]

Badlands National Park
Eastern South Dakota generally features higher precipitation and lower topography than the western part of the state. Smaller geographic regions of this area include the Coteau des Prairies, the Dissected Till Plains, and the James River Valley. The Coteau des Prairies is a plateau bordered on the east by the Minnesota River Valley and on the west by the James River Basin.[50] Further west, the James River Basin is mostly low, flat, highly eroded land, following the flow of the James River through South Dakota from north to south.[52] The Dissected Till Plains, an area of rolling hills and fertile soil that covers much of Iowa and Nebraska, extends into the southeastern corner of South Dakota. Layers deposited during the Pleistocene epoch, starting around two million years ago, cover most of eastern South Dakota.[53] These are the youngest rock and sediment layers in the state, the product of several successive periods of glaciation which deposited a large amount of rocks and soil, known as till, over the area.[54]
